Kwey, Kwey,
The Aboriginal Festival was this weekend near Toronto. I hope all of my Metis brothers & sister who were able to attend had a great inspiring event.
My dear Canadian cousins the Morrisons were there & had a chance to stop by & chat with our Metis brother Arvel Bird, a good time was had by all.

Kwey, Kwey (this is hello in Algonquin)
The creative juices have been flowing these lovely days. We had 3 awesome shows this month; perhaps you stopped by to visit me at one of them. I am grateful to all of you who purchased my creations and to those of you who were not able to purchase, your heartfelt words are always appreciated.
Now the holiday season is upon us & perhaps you will find a little something on my site for a great gift or stocking stuffer.
Happy holiday to all
Meegwetch,
Susan
Anasazi wire wrap jewelry made with Sterling Silver or Gold wire with semi precious gemstones. Jewelry gifts made with handcrafted glass beads dichoric glass abalone shells from jewelry artist Susan Janisky.
Wire art is found throughout history back to early Egypt. It is created with metal wire mostly Sterling Silver, 14kt Gold, 14kt Gold Fill (sometimes known as Rolled Gold) Brass & or Copper.
The process is that of hand construction and sometimes with the use of pliers to create a bezel around a stone without the use of solder, the tightly wrapped wire holds the stone in place
The wire used comes in various gauges (thickness) generally 24 gauge to 12 gauge in round, square and half round shapes.
The Anasazi Creations Jewelry features a varied selection of items. We offer hand crafted wire wrapped jewelry using semi-precious gemstones and beads, turquoise, crystal, dichroic glass and cameos set in 14 kt gold fill and sterling silver wire. We also offer lovely earrings and strung necklaces and bracelets with crystal, semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver and gold fill beads. Each piece is created by hand by jewelry artist Susan Shatreau-Janisky.
